These socks are inspired by Stevie Nicks and specifically Fleetwood Mac’s 1982 ‘Gypsy’ music video. Click here if you wish to be inspired!

These socks were designed to be knit cuff down using a colorwork chart. There are directions for afterthought heels as well as heel-flap-and-gusset heels. If you a proficient sock knitter, you may use the chart and create a toe up sock.

S (40st over 4”/10cm) = 2.5mm needles, 64st
M1 (38st over 4”/10cm) = 2.75mm needles, 64st
M2 (40st over 4”/10cm) = 2.5mm needles, 72st
L (38st over 4”/10cm) = 2.75mm needles, 72st
XL (38st over 4”/10cm) = 2.75mm needles, 80st

For small and medium 1 socks you can use two 50g skeins of yarn. For medium 2, large and x-large it is suggested you use more:
45-50g of MC yarn (background color)
50-75g of CC yarn (cuffs, heels, toes, moon, stars & hands)
