YOU WILL NEED
Yarn
I used Kartopu amigurumi yarn in two colors, blue and beige. However, any cotton yarn suited for a 3.5-4mm hook will do. For the embroidery, I used a double strand of acrylic baby aran, cotton will work too.
Crochet hook
I used a 2 mm hook. It is intentionally slightly too small for the yarn, this gives you nice and tight stitches.

sc - single crochet (US), double crochet (UK)
slst - slip stitch
ch - chain
ring (magic ring, or if you cannot do that, just do a 3ch and 1slst in the first loop)
st - stitch
dc - double crochet stitch (US), treble crochet stitch (UK)
basic sewing skills
