Ooooooh I bet you’re smelling it right now in your head lol!

We all know it and once it’s cured and we can drive on it again it’s soooo smooth. Until it’s not anymore and the cycle of stinky asphalt begins again! Road work in Michigan is a year round activity but in the spring and summertime asphalt reigns! This dark, resilient material covers most of our paved roads Michigan.

Stinky Asphalt is knit from cuff to toe. It features simple ribbing, the debut of the stinky asphalt heel and a French toe.

Blue Mule Fiber is one of my favorite brands of yarn! Her hand dyed Donegal is to dye for!

I’ve knit this on both US #1 and US #1 1/2. It’s a simple sock with a very cool heel.
