Stitch Ears Headband
This pattern is categorized as Beginner, but feel free to send me a message if you need any help :)
Finished Headband is approximately 2.5-3 inches in thickness, though it can be easily adjusted.
Three sizes are listed for the headband portion, but it is easilt adjustable.
Materials
100 yards of blue- I used Crafters Secret in Cobalt Blue
30 yds of pink- I used I Love This Yarn in Soft Pink
4.0mm crochet hook (g)
Glue (optional)- I used hot glue
Tapestry Needle
Abbreviations
Sc: Single crochet
Ch: Chain
Inc: Increase
Dec: Decrease
Hdc: Half double crochet
BLO: Back loop only
MR: Magic Ring
FO: Fasten Off
Notes:
Ears are worked in continuous rounds, do not join unless stated.
I glued the inner ear to the ear; you can choose to sew it on as well.
Headband can easily be adjusted, sizes in pattern are guidelines and may not fit everyone. Adding a few rows of hdc to the pattern will help the fit and won’t affect the look of the headband. Additionally, you can add a few chains to make a thicker headband.
A sturdier yarn is helpful if you want the ears to stand up straight, a softer yarn may cause your ears to flop to the sides.
