Materials needed to create a 7 in. tall toy:
-Royal Blue, Baby Blue, Navy, Lavender, Black, and White Yarn (sport weight)
-3mm Crochet Hook
-Polyfill or Cotton for stuffing
-Scissors
-Darning Needle
-Stitch Marker
-Pins
The terminology used in this pattern are as follows:
st(s): stitch(es)
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
inc: two single crochets in one stitch
dec: invisible decrease, single crochet two stitches together through the front loops only
sl st: slip stitch
BLO: crochet only in the back loops (loop away from you) of each stitch
(…) x # : repeat anything in the parenthesis however many times the number indicates
(number)sc: one sc in the following number of stitches
dc2: dc twice in the next stitch
RB: Royal Blue yarn
BB: Baby Blue yarn
2dc puff: YO, insert hook into st, YO, draw back through the st, YO, draw through 2 loops on hook Repeat from * to * one more time in the same st. YO, draw through all 3 loops on hook.
Basic colour changing technique required.
