Stitch Music
With crochet, it is always a treat when you are crocheting a project with a stitch pattern that has a nice rhythm to it and you can relax and zip along through the rows.
My Stitch Music cowl is one of these projects, where the stitches are easy and rhythmic and one stitch pattern harmonizes easily and beautifully with the next stitch pattern. And, you do not have to count stitches or rows, so Stitch Music is truly a no stress project.
Stitch Music is a simple and quick project using one skein of Berroco Summer Silk, a lightweight DK cotton/silk yarn (240 yards/50 grams) for warmer temperatures. For Winter you can choose a nice DK weight wool yarn and enjoy the warmth.
The cowl is crocheted flat using both a size H hook (5 mm) and a size G hook (4 mm), in two sections, and then seamed to join in the round with the neck circumference easily adjusted to fit a range of neck sizes.
With this cowl you get the look of an asymmetrical scarf without any ends to wrap or keep in place. You just simply drop it over your head and go.
So find your perfect color, relax and enjoy the music!
