The final blanket ends up being a cozy soft, light weighted throw that is perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon picnic or to snuggle up in front of the fire on a cold winter morning, update your living room with this brightly colored striped afghan and uses it as a definite conversation piece lounge throw.
Do you enjoy I love working in bright vivid colors and cotton is by far my choice for any throw or afghan as it seems to fall beautifully and still have a comfortable breathing feeling when wrapped around my knees.
If you are not a cotton girl like me, this pattern can easily be worked in chunky wool with a bigger hook size.

The thing I love the most about crochet is the endless possibility of creating something rich with color and texture. The multitude of stitch techniques is endless and stroking your hand over a crochet piece brings a certain kind of joy and peace to any heart.
This pattern is close to my heart, as it’s a collection of crochet stitches and patterns that I hold very dear. These are simply my favorite go-to patterns, and they can be used in so many shapes and forms.
This pattern has been written to be able to work in width and length to suit your required size. It works from top to bottom, so your chain length determines the width of the blanket, while the amount of rows you work on determines the length of the blanket.
Pattern includes both written and diagram instructions. Written instructions are read from top to bottom, left to right, while stitch diagrams are read from right to left, and from bottom to top.
This pattern is perfect for any type of yarn, work away all your winter scrap yarn, or work it in your favorite selection of yarn, the choice of color and yarn type is completely up to you.
