Stitch Whisperers
It was brought to my attention recently that I’ve been designing for 10 years. I started thinking about my knitting adventure and how I started. Many years ago I saw a book in a fabric store by Lesley Stanfield that had nothing but stitches. I was a fairly new knitter but I bought that book (I still have it!) because I was so intrigued by the pictures and instructions. I didn’t know how to do most of it and didn’t know what a stitch multiple was or a repeat. I just knew that I wanted to knit these interesting textures. I’ve collected these books over the years and I am eternally grateful for the “stitch whisperers” who took the time to compile these collections which captivate me to this day.
Stitch Whisperers are my tribute to these fine women. The design is a combination of my first 2 designs from way back when. They are knit from cuff to star toe in an easily remembered pattern. Written instructions are included.
Did I say I love this yarn?
