This simple cowl is part of a series of designs that feature stitch patterns from more complex Provenance Knits designs. The stitch pattern is featured in the Pendant Purls Scarf design

With minimal borders and no shaping, you simply cast on and enjoy a “taste” of the stitch design. The cowl uses a stitch pattern from the Japanese book 1000 Knitting Patterns Book.

The main stitch pattern is a triangular section of purl stitches edged with lace. Each purl section resembles a pendant suspended from the above triangle of purls.

The stitch pattern is featured in both the Pendant Purls Scarf and Pendant Purls Shawl designs.
