Stitchwort Slippers
I like nothing better than to pad around the house in a pair of hand knitted slippers. (And there is nothing worse than having cold feet!) I designed these slipper for myself, to be very similar in shape to my Tundra Baby Shoes.
They are a really easy knit, and very quick too.
The pattern is only in one size, UK 4.5/5, as I knitted them to fit myself. I think I’m about average, but I am planning to develop the pattern for other sized feet. So let me know if you would like to knit them for your size, and that will get me motivated.
The shoes are decorated with a bit of free style embroidery. Why not gave a go at this? It is really very easy, but instantly makes your shoes a bit special. I think making the sprigs of flowers asymmetrical looks nice. If you want some tips on embroidery then visit embroidery corner on my blog, where I show you how to do a few stitches.
I hope you enjoy it, and they keep your tootsies warm!
