Stjerneskinn, translated ”starshine” is a pair of gorgeous, stranded socks, inspired by Scandinavian knitting traditions. Both the Selbu star and the snow crystals in between have been used a lot in Scandinavian knitting, and the short row heel and rounded to are the ones that my grandma taught me how to knit. The pattern could be knitted in two or three colors, or you could add yet another color for cuffs, heels and toes, making this pattern a great stashbuster.
