Stockbridge Pullover
Welcome to the Stockbridge Pullover knitting pattern by Rena Greyson from The Red Fox and Gown for Knit Pick’s Cold Snap Collection released in 2015!
About:
During crisp winter days, wear Stockbridge around town or curled up by the fireplace. My Stockbridge Pullover design originates from the neighbourhood of the same name in Edinburgh, Scotland. I love the beauty of the area and timelessness of the neighbourhood, which inspired this pullover.
Construction:
The pullover is knit seamlessly from the top down. The yoke of the sweater is worked flat, then joined in the round after the sleeves are placed on waste yarn. The shawl collar is worked at the end, with stitches cast on and additional stitches picked up at the back of the neck. The sides and fronts of the shawl collar are sewn down.
