I designed this as a girly bib, but boys can totally rock ruffles as well! The ruffle and straps are picked up and knitted from the body. And yes, that would be the “bib model” falling asleep as she is getting ready for her closeup. Note: this pattern, as written, is not necessarily a “functional” bib. That is, it is not designed to go all the way up to the chin of the child who wears it…it is more of a fashion accessory. But it can be washed and I can help you adjust the size and pattern if you WANT to make it functional.
