This easy pattern is worked in the round on circular needles with a brief section worked in rows and then finished on dpns. This fits most adults and provides good coverage down the neck.
I used just over one skien of the bernat roving.

6.5mm 16in circular needle
8mm 16in circular needle
8mm dpns
