Stocking Cap with Jingle Bells
Notes…This pattern does not include changes for specific sizes. The pattern is written the same for all sizes. Sizing is determined by the number of increase rows. You can use this one pattern to make stocking caps for everyone in the family! This particular design is worked in the round. There will be no turning and all of the work is done on the right side. Gauge is not important for this design.Materials needed…You will need a package of jingle bells from the craft store. The hat in the pictures has three smallish jingle bells. I’ve also made these hats with one larger jingle bell. You may choose to add a pom-pom or leave the end as is, it is up to you! You’ll also want four stitch markers (safety pins, small pieces of yarn or fishhook earrings work just as well!) to mark your increases, and a blunt tip yarn needle so that you don’t poke yourself when sewing the bells on.
