Stockport Tote
This Tote is perfect for beginners. Complete with pic tutorials. The Tote is constructed in simple square/rectangle shapes, using a basic stitch, then simply seamed together.
The handle and bag used a smaller hook size so it is sturdy and able to be filled up without stretching. I added a panel for an increased depth capacity so you can store and fill up the bag with plenty of room. The pockets on the front can easily hold cell phones, crochet hooks, snacks, anything! I made sure to give them a decent size to be a benefit.
Make one for yourself or as a lovely gift! This costs less then $20 for all the yarn!

A bit of history behind the name: The earliest evidence of human occupation are from the hunter-gatherers of the Mesolithic period about 8000–3500 BC, and weapons and stone tools from the Neolithic period , New Stone Age, 3500–2000 BC. Historically, most of the town was in Cheshire, but the area to the north of the Mersey was in Lancaster. Stockport in the 16th century was a small town entirely on the south bank of the Mersey, and known for the cultivation of hemp and manufacture of rope. In the 18th century the town had one of the first mechanized silk factories in the British Isles. However, Stockport’s predominant industries of the 19th century were the cotton and allied industries. Stockport was also at the center of the country’s hatting industry, which by 1884 was exporting more than six million hats a year.
