With its fun and simple little zig-zag lines, this easy-to-memorize twisted stitch pattern creates an interesting texture while also breaking up pools of color in a fabulous hand-painted yarn.

Twisted ribbing starts off this top-down sock, which is followed by columns of slipped-stitch diamonds. The slipped stitches on the back of the leg turn into a slip-stitch ribbing heel flap, and a traditional gusset is worked to finish the heel turn. The ends of the columns are staggered to create a pointed toe detail, and the sock is finished with toe deceases and grafting. This pattern is fully charted.
