New to Bobbles? Check out my video tutorial for knitting bobbles that POP!
https://youtu.be/LgPwbau3pOI
STOKER is an elegant yet cozy triangular shawl inspired by Victorian-era fashion. Many dresses featured a vertical row of buttons flanked by pintucks, piping, or lace detail, to create a “V” down the center front of the bodice. I loved the idea of recreating this style in a triangular shawl using, bobbles, lace, and textured stitches. The optional tassels add an extra bit of historical flare.
Knit from the top down, you’ll be increasing your stitch count by 4 sts on every RS row. Charts and written instructions are given for each section. Do not be overwhelmed. Some rows do require a bit of attention, but each stitch is simple and very intuitive. Instructions and video links are given for special techniques such as bobbles and tassels.
