The stone mandala was inspired by the amazing work of Elspeth McLean (www.elspethmclean.com). If you don’t know her yet I seriously recommend looking her up! I truly hope I was able to capture a part of her mesmerizing painted stones in this mandala.

• Overlay crochet - All the circles are made as you go along.
• This pattern is a detailed photo tutorial together with written instructions, step by step for each round.
• Contains a printing version (without pictures).
• All techniques and abbreviations explained inside.
• Skill level: Intermediate (front/back loop, crochet in the round, invisible join, PF, sp st, dc2tog, hdc, tr, dtr)
• Size: You can use any kind of yarn with a matching hook size, Final size will depend on what yarn & hook you will use. Using my recommended materials the diameter is 26 cm/ 10.2 inches approx.
• Materials: one background color, 7 yarn colors creating an ombre effect for the circles, crochet hook, scissors & a tapestry needle.
