Stone Path
Sometimes I like a slow-moving, complex pattern with a
fine gauge, and other times I just want to pull out a huge
hook and whip up something simple, chic, and superchunky.
Stone Path is inspired by Caitlin Dowe-Sandes’s cement-
tile walkway design, which features clean lines and a stylish,
sophisticated palette. For this project, I chose linen stitch
because it yields a lightly textured look, echoing the stone,
and when worked in a bulky yarn it makes a weighty piece
perfect for sleeping late in snowy weather.
