Stonefield Scarf (Assigned Pooling)
The Stonefield Scarf uses a method called assigned pooling, where the color changes in the yarn determine where the puff stitches go. It requires variegated yarn, not color work, to achieve the desired result: an array of randomly placed puffs that stand out from the background. The pattern is entirely dependent on the yarn you use, so every scarf is unique!
Note: It may take some experimentation to find yarn that will work, or you can use the recommended yarn in the pattern.
