Stonycreek Wrap
This lace wrap is made in one piece. Edging, then the center lace pattern, and then the edging again is worked, so there are no complicated joins.
Fingering or DK weight yarn may be used, and the pattern is written for both. Fingering weight makes a light and airy wrap, while DK is cozy and shawl-like.
Either a chart or written instructions may be used for the lace, since both are included. The pattern is intriguing for beginning lace knitters, yet also interesting to knitters with lace experience.
Note: The pattern is given in either Fingering or DK weight yarn. Information for Fingering is above, and DK is below:
- Knit Picks Gloss DK
- 18 sts / 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette st
- US #7 (4.5 mm)
- 738 yards (672 m)
