Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Eve
What you need in Vermont is a good pair of warm, wooly mittens. Wool is not only warm and cozy, it’s also great for making your hands feel dry even if they’re not. Did you know that wool can hold up to 30% of its weight in water and not even feel wet?
These mittens are worked in a very stretchy ribbed pattern and are made with negative ease for a snug fit to add to that comfortable feeling. The traveling stitches also add extra thickness to the mittens so it’s almost like you’re wearing two pairs for extra warmth.
They’re great for a snowball fight, a winter walk in the woods, or for driving when your steering wheel is just a bit too cold to handle!
This pattern is an accompanying design for my Craftsy class, Bavarian Twisted Stitches. Use this link to save 50% on the class.
