Crochet stork with tiny baby pattern. DIY gift for baby shower. New baby gift.
Easy crochet pattern with step by step process photos which is helpful for beginners.
This pattern is my original design. It consists of 33 pages of step by step crocheting instructions with quality photos and short videos with crochet tips.
The pattern doesn’t contain crochet lessons. You need to have basic crochet skills and good knowledge of crochet terminology.
The pattern is the property of the designer and any copying and distribution (partial or complete) is prohibited!
You can use the finished toy to your own discretion.
The size of the finished toy with the use of recommended materials and 4.0 mm crochet hook: stork 25 cm (~9.8 inches) in sitting position, and its full height is 36 cm (~14,2 inches ), baby 15 cm (~ 5.9 inches).
Pay attention that in case of using materials other than listed your toy size will differ from mine.
Recommended materials and tools:
1. Plush yarn 100 gr/120 m (#6 Super Bulky). I use Himalaya Dolphin Baby:
• #80301 (white) – 1-1.5 of skein;
• #80311 (black) – 1/3 of a skein;
• #80312 (terracotta) – 1/2 of a skein;
• #80353 (powder) -1/3 of a skein;
• #80319 (pink).
- Black color semi-cotton yarn for embroidery, white & powder color semi-cotton yarn for tightening, light blue, blue & beige color semi-cotton yarn for bag, cap and baby hair crocheting. I use YarnArt Jeans (50g/160 m) #53 (black), #01 (white), #75 (light blue), #17 (blue), #87 (beige), #73 (powder).
- 4.0 mm hook (US size G/6) or any other suitable for your crochet density.
- 3.0 mm hook (try US size C/2 or D/3) for legs crocheting.
- 2.5 mm hook (US size C/2) for bag & cap crocheting.
- Filling (holofiber or fiberfill for stuffing).
- 20 mm safety eyes for stork.
- 12 mm safety eyes for baby.
- Eyelashes and glue.
- Letter-beads for “It’s a boy”, “It`s a girl” decoration (if you use them).
- Yarn needle, pins, stitch marker and scissors.
