Allow me to present my spirit animal: a surly little black sheep named Stormcloud. He was born out of a slightly sour mood that coincided with my stumbling onto the technique of knitted bobbles. Did you guys know there was such a thing?!? I used to LOVE this bobble blanket my mom crocheted when I was small. I constantly got in trouble for dragging the huge block of squishy cream puffs away from its designated display place on the sofa. That memory led to wondering if I could recreate that look in knit and ultimately to this project. The bobble stitch is easy to memorize and creates a fantastic wooly texture.
