MATERIALS
Needle US 4 (3,5 mm) and US 5 (4 mm), circulars with 16-inch (40 cm) length / optional double pointed needles for crown shaping, stitch marker, tapestry needle.

22 sts x 32 rows in rib pattern =
4” (10 cm2) with needle, size US 4 (4 mm)

The hat is worked in rounds, at a relatively tight gauge. The hat shape needs some sturdiness; therefore, you should choose yarns with high wool content to keep the shape.

The instructions are given for DK weight yarn, but you can easily adjust the pattern for almost every yarn you intend to use. Just make sure, to swatch and accordingly adjust the number of stitches for your cast on.

ALLGEMEINE HINWEISE
Die Mütze wird in Runden mit einer relativ dichten Maschenprobe gestrickt. Um eine lässigere Form zu erreichen, einfach ein oder zwei Mustersätze hinzufügen, bevor mit dem Abnahmen begonnen wird und ein leichteres Garn oder eine Mischung aus zwei Garnen (z.B. Fingering und Mohair) verwenden.

Die Anleitung ist für DK-Garn geschrieben, aber das Muster kann leicht für fast jedes Garn angepasst werden, das verwendet möchte.
