Storsand Scarf
The Storsand scarf is a little kerchief that can be worn in multiple ways. It is started at the tip of the scarf, then increased on every right side row until the full width before decreasing your way back to the other tip.
The Storsand scarf was designed with those odd balls and leftover skeins of DK weight yarn we all have in our stashes, and you can work it in two colors as written, or use a different color for each stripe - the options are endless. The Storsand scarf would look beautiful even in just one color.
Storsand means “the big sand”. The Storsand scarf was named after a beach in my childhood hometown. The lace stripes of the scarf remind me of the patterns waves make when they hit the sandy beaches.
