Storsjöfrost is a series of patterns inspired by the first frosty mornings in my beloved Jämtland. The other patterns are available here on Ravelry and the series is also continuing to grow.

Storsjöfrostcowl is knitted in double thread of Nutiden (or any other unspun yarn) in two colors. If you want the pattern to be clear I recommend high contrast between the two colors. The cowl is meant to be a small cowl, perfect to wear under a jacket or just when you want some extra warmth to your neck.

The stranded pattern is very meditating to knit since it’s easy to follow. The pattern is also very suitable for beginners, and if you for the first time want to try working in Nutiden it’s a good place to start.

The requirement of yarn can differ from color to color but you need approximately 30 grams of each color.
