Story Connection Puppets
This pattern is completed by knitting one side and then repeating it with some variations for face and hair. The two pieces are placed right sides together and then sewn. It is a good pattern to use up extra balls of yarn as different colours can be used to create the idea of clothing for the family. These puppets were designed to be multipurpose for storybook connections. Once you know the pattern it can be adapted to create main characters for almost any story as shown with the witch and the troll included with this pattern. Machine wash yarns are suggested for use in sanitizing if puppets are made for other than a single family use.
