There is nothing like a good story, as L.M. Montgomery’s heroine Sara Stanley knows—she is, after all, the Story Girl. This sock pattern celebrates the power of story with two sets of interwoven cables inspired by the short stories nestled into the overarching narrative of The Story Girl.
Sizes
1: 56 Stitches - 8”-9” foot circumference
2: 64 Stitches - 9”-10” foot circumference
3: 72 Stitches - 10”-11” foot circumference
Gauge
US 1/2.25 mm - Approx. 8-9 stitches per inch in stockinette.
Sample shown in Size 2, knit on US 1.
Socks have negative ease with plenty of stretch to ensure a snug fit while still pulling easily over the heel.
Yarn
You’ll need one (1) 100 g skein of fingering weight yarn for the Main Color and one (1) 20 g mini skein or two (2) 10 g mini skeins for the Contrasting stripes.
