Stradbroke
Stradbroke is a baby-doll style top featuring racer back straps that button at the front. The ribbed bodice opens up into a pretty lace pattern that finishes with a scalloped edging at the hem.
Hat elastic is used to create the shirred effect of the bodice and has the added benefit of providing a perfect fit while allowing room to grow. Worked from the top down and totally seamless, creating something special for the special little girl in your life couldn’t be easier.
Skill Level: INTERMEDIATE
This is a project created using basic stitches and requires minimal shaping and finishing. Ability to work front and back post stitches is required. Not recommended for beginners.

Stradbroke Island is the third of the sand islands visible from the Redcliffe Peninsula, Queensland Australia. Its golden beaches and rolling dunes are truly captivating. Originally one large island, it split into two in the late 19th century and is now divided into North and South by the Jumpinpin Channel. These unique features are the inspiration behind “Stradbroke.”
