STRANDED GRADIENT SWEATER
The inspiration for this sweater comes from traditional stranded knitting patterns combined with the wonderful colors that Blacker Yarns creates. Originally I knitted this pattern in Blacker Yarns Cornish Tin 2 4 ply, but since that’s not a yarn from their permanent collection, I decided to write this pattern for Tamar 4 ply. Tamar is a beautiful yarn with a lot of drape, and is really suited to stranded knitting.
The sweater is a drop shoulder, seamless design, with an allover stranded knitting pattern. It is especially suited for 3 colors that form a gradient, with a neutral background.
