Stranded phoenix
Stranded Phoenix is a stranded 2 colour work pullover / tee . A great start for those who want to try out colour work knitting.
This project is work in round starting from the neckline to the bottom waist line. It’s a yoke construction pattern and short rows are used after the colour work to shape the upper body.
This pattern is made using sports weight yarn and can be easily converted for the use of other yarn weight by just up sizing it or down sizing it.
Included in this pattern are a variety of sleeves length, unfinished neck line, crop / normal / half hip body length & also a choice for normal ribbing bind off and stretchy bind off.
SIZING
XS ( S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL )
80-85 ( 85-90, 90-95, 95-100, 100-105, 105-110, 110-115 ) bust circumference measurement in centimeter. ( rough guide of measurement ) with build-in ease 3-5cm.
GAUGE with
3mm needle on stockinette st for main colour – 22sts = 10cm
3.5mm needle on stockinette st for colourwork – 23sts = 10cm
YARN USED
For this sample I’ve used silky cotton from Javafiberwork. It’s a cotton polyamid silk blend yarn in 50 grm / roll and 135 mtr/ roll. 4 roll of Teal colour are used for main colour and 1 roll of khaki is used for contrast colour.
