This textured cowl was designed as a piece on which to learn various Tunisian crochet stitches.

You will need a double ended Tunisian crochet hook.

When Tunisian crochet is worked in the round using one colour for the “forward pass” and a second colour for the “reverse pass”, one colour appears on the front and the second on the back of the fabric.

This makes the cowl reversible with lots of great texture.

Stripes are worked by swapping yarns over (not cutting them) so there are no extra ends to weave in.

You can substitute any yarn/hook size to get your desired look. Just adjust the length of the starting chain to suit (any number of stitches will do). Getting an exact gauge is not critical.
