Strathcona is a lightweight and versatile beanie with a lace border and garter stitch ridges. Choose from one of two silhouettes: an elfin pointed crown for a whimsical festive hat, or a casual slouched beanie. If you like, top either version off with a pom pom. This hat is worked in fingering weight yarn, making it a nice light layer on winter days, but without crushing your hair. The brim is generous enough to cover your ears; or, you can fold it up and wear it like a toque.
