Strathcona
Strathcona is part of the book ISLAND, a collection of handknits designed by Jane Richmond and inspired by Vancouver Island.
Strathcona
A light and airy scarf knit with 100% linen for a truly all season accessory. Sloped garter ends mirror the directional lace mesh. An elongated V shape is created by using a bias stitch. Alternating the order of the stitch pattern easily shifts the direction of the knitting, creating a long scarf that echoes the shape of a triangular shawl. Perfectly portable, this project also makes excellent summer knitting.
