Straw Cardigan
Straw is a simple cardigan with raglan shaping. It has comfortable, loose fitting sleeves and a beautiful delicate textured pattern falling down the raglan lines.
The button-band is worked after the sweater is done and joined to the body of the sweater as you go.
SIZES
XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL).
Recommended ease: 4-8” (10-20 cm) of positive ease.

Upper sleeve circumference: 14 (15¼, 16¾, 18, 19¼, 20¾, 21½, 22¾, 24½) inches; 35 (38, 42, 45, 48, 52, 54, 57, 61) cm.
MATERIALS
Yarn: 6 (7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14) balls of STRA by Woolfolk (50% Wool / 50% Linen; 164 yards 150m / 50g) or 951 (1115, 1279, 1443, 1607, 1771, 1935, 2099, 2263) yards 870 (1020, 1170, 1320, 1470, 1620, 1770, 1920, 2070) m of another light worsted weight or DK weight yarn.
Needles: US 6 4 mm, US 4 3.5 mm circular needles, about 32” long, and an extra US 4 3.5 mm circular needle 40” long for the buttonband.
Other: Stitch markers (8), cable needles (2), stitch holders or waste yarn, tapestry needle.
5 buttons approx 1” (2.5 cm) wide.
GAUGE
20 sts and 30 rows = 4” 10 cm on US 6 4 mm needles in Stockinette stitch.
