Strawberry Blocks
IT’S ARRIVED!
Skills Used in this Pattern. (English abbreviations)
chain / slip stitch / double crochet / half treble / treble / double treble / decreasing / increasing / embroidery / granny square
Level - Intermediate - but not that difficult.
I have used my strawberry pattern on bags but never in a block - until now. I was surprised how well it turned out.
The strawberries are raised from the block and can be worked in groups of 2, 3, and 4. Blossoms, leaves and stalks are added when the block has been completed.
The pattern has 8 A4 pages and does have lots of photos. (Sorry about the colour printing, but they do make it easier to follow the instructions.)
Also included in this pattern are the instructions for the flat strawberry block. This also makes quite a good tomato minus the pips of course!
I am not really into actually crocheting Afghans, so I made mine on my pc. It is much quicker to do and looks just as good on-screen!
Believe me they do look sweet, much nicer than my photos.
Let me know what you think.
