Strawberry bunny
Hello everyone! First day of the month of May brings you the Strawbunny! While I had very clear ideas for the previous months, with this one I was a bit unsure what exactly I was going to make. I had initially planned to make a flower bun, but as March already featured flowers, I decided to go for something else. I don’t know about where you are, but here, May is peak strawberry time – hence I made the strawbunny! But what kind did I want to make? My original plan was to make a bunny in a strawberry colored dress, and maybe I will make one someday, but for today, I decided for a cute little bunny lurking behind a giant strawberry, ready to take a bite. I hope you’ll make your own strawbunny! ❤
Materials
To make the Strawbunny you will need:
– A 2.5mm crochet hook
– Green, red and white yarn (plus yarn in your desired bunny color if you don’t want white)
– A tapestry needle and scissors
– Stuffing
– Safety eyes
– A stitch marker to help you keep track of the start of the round
Please note that you can make the Strawbunny using any size crochet hook and yarn weight for a smaller or bigger result. Using DK yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook, the strawberry should be about 20cm long and 10-15cm high; the bunny should be about 15cm tall.

The pattern is written using US crochet terms in continuous spirals. You will need to know the following kinds of stitches to make him:
