This is a crochet pattern to create 6 strawberry shaped coasters and a cute strawberry shaped holder to neatly store them in. This pattern is written using US terms and includes a chart to convert into UK terms. I have used photographs to help with instructions in the pattern and included a printer friendly version.

This pattern uses a lot of stitch changes throughout, so is not ideal for a complete beginner. I am happy to help if needed, please feel free to contact me.

I have used UK Chunky yarn for this pattern, you may use 2 strands of DK yarn together instead to achieve the same gauge. I have used a smaller hook than standard for this size yarn to create a tighter stitch, which will help prevent liquid seeping through the coasters when in use. Finished coasters should be approximately 10cm in diameter.

You will need red, cream, green, and yellow (or chosen seed colour) yarn. Less than a 100g ball/skein of each colour is used.
