My love for “potato pets” continues!! This time our potato pet crochet friends needed a little COW buddy. I chose the cow, as my brother ADORES all things cow and he wanted one for his birthday. After I made him a “regular” cow squishy, I got a bit carried away and also made a Strawberry Cow!! It was inspired by my Strawberry Turtle that I shared previously here on Ravelry. I love the Strawberry stalk hat!!

So you can choose to make a “normal” cow or a strawberry cow crochey squishy. As with the other potato pets, these patterns work really well with super chunky chenille yarn too.. which allow you to make a plushie toys out of this pattern!

NOTE: This pattern does need a small piece of felt for the cow’s “nose”.

I used a 2mm hook for this pattern, using the cotton ricorumi yarn. But just adapt the pattern to the yarn you and hooks you have to hand. If you don’y have safety eyes, you can add felt eyes, embroider eyes or use buttons maybe?
