Strawberry Fields Sweater
A sweater for children aged 1 - 10
Method
The sweater is knit in the round from the top down and has a simple colorwork pattern on the circular yoke. The sweater has four colors, one main color which is the color of the sweater and three contrast colors. The first contrast color is the base color of the yoke, the second is the “seeds” or dots on the yoke. It is best that these colors have a good contrast. The third contrast color is for the “petals” so it is nice to choose a color that contrasts well with the main color.
It is perfect to use leftover fingering weight yarn for the contrast colors as only small amounts are used. Just weigh the leftover balls that you have on your kitchen scales to evaluate if you have enough yarn :)
