This pincushion is the crocheted version of the fabric tomato and strawberry pincushion. We only need a little bit of yarn for this project. To complete this project, we use two different color yarns. The color yarns we use are Cherry Red and Green. The yarns we use are 100% acrylic – medium 4 (worsted). The approximate finished measurement of our pincushion is: Tomato 13” diameter x 11” circumference, Strawberry 2” tall. Additional supplies we will need are Poly Fiber, Poly-Pellets, sewing needle, fabric (small piece), sewing thread, and emery (very little). We use the emery to stuff the strawberry. You don’t have to use the emery you can use poly fiber stuffing. The reason for the emery is to keep the
sewing pins sharpened. Give it a try and see how yours comes out.
