This little turtle takes hardly any time at all to make and there is minimal sewing involved. You only have to sew on the stalk of the strawberry.
Pattern is written using US Crochet terms and is suitable for a confident beginner with some amigurumi experience.
You will need:
3.5 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle, scissors
Small amount of toy stuffing
Two safety eyes (8 mm)
DK (size 3) yarn: about 10 g in red, 10 g in body colour, small amount in green and yellow.
Keyring/keychain (optional)
This pattern requires basic knowledge of the following crochet stitches:
Magic circle, single crochet, half double crochet, chain, slip stitch, how to crochet into front and back loops, single crochet increase and decrease and how to crochet in continuous circle.
