Strecende Cowl is one of a set of three cowls sharing a central theme of elongated stitches. This third cowl uses four colours and stacks of elongated stitches which create the look of jagged tears in the fabric. The colourwork elongated stitches are worked on two lines only in each motif repeat. Strecende means “stretched out” in Old English.
