Strecest Cowl is one of a set of three cowls sharing a central theme of elongated stitches. This second cowl uses two colours and a paired stretched stitch motif which creates a crossed effect. The colourwork elongated stitches are worked on two lines only in each motif repeat. Strecest means “to stretch” in Old English.
