Designed especially for everyday use, this fine gauge double-layered fully reversible beanie has slick minimalist details which will appeal to every wearer. A subtle understatement in two lightweight layers which gives the option of a neutral and a colour version; a striped and a plain version; or two neutrals/two colours!

Double the beanie, without being too thick and heavy for general wear. Slight slouch in the crown gives a contemporary edge to this teen/adult size hat - the ribbing ensures a snug fit on most heads. Perfectly seamless with no visible joins, and the tight stitching will have people wondering that it’s not machine-made. Your Streetware will become two of your favourite go-to beanies!

Uses 4ply/fingering weight wool/merino or ‘sock’ yarn in two colours, approx 250 yards of each colour.

You will need some waste yarn in 4ply/fingering weight, and 2mm circular needles in 40cm length for the main body of the hat and 80/100cm length for the crown. Stitch markers, and a darning needle.

Finished size after blocking: 24cm tall, 20cm wide at brim (laid flat, not stretched).
