Nothing beats a simple, clean, classic design. And what is simpler or more classic than a basic unisex ribbed beanie? In five sizes, there’s something for everyone’s head.

The ribbing stretches and shrinks in all the right places, and the smooth un-fussy lines allow you to show off your special yarn perfectly - or blend into the background with your basic everyday woollen headwarmer.

Wear as is with a slouch, or fold up the reversible brim for a different, more fitted look. There is a lot of overlap between the sizes because they are so stretchy, so you will get a good fit even if you have an ‘in between’ head. Large adult will work for a regular adult head but will give a looser fit.

Sizes are written for newborn, baby-toddler, child, teen-adult, and large adult. The pattern calls for a tubular rib cast on; alternative methods can be substituted but the finish at the brim will not be as polished. Youtube tutorial is provided for the recommended cast on method.
