Stria is a smart jacket in bold stripes of contrasting colour and texture with an asymmetric front opening. The wide garter stitch stripes make it a soft and warm little jacket. Stria has a simple construction with no bands and features raglan sleeves with lace eyelet increasing.
Stria is worked seamlessly from the top down in light sport or fingering weight yarn. Instructions are given for five sizes, from newborn to toddler (0 - 3, 3 – 6, 6 – 12, 12 – 18 months and 18 months to 2 years). Chest sizes are generous for ease of wearing over other garments. Only basic stitches are used (knit, purl, and some increases and decreases, all fully explained).
The featured garment was knitted in MillaMia Naturally Soft Merino in Butterscotch and Ice.
All measurements are given in both metric and imperial systems. The body is knitted flat and instructions are given for knitting the sleeves flat or in the round.

Matching bootie pattern (Stria Booties) available separately.

Erratum: there was an error in the sleeve division row. This has now been corrected, and an easier version of the flat sleeves included.
