Strike a Post is a simple, easy repeat pattern that is so versatile in that it can be worked in any type yarn or hook size and in a single or as many colours you wish to use.

Once you understand the repeats, you won’t need to refer to the pattern sheet for guidance. I call this project your “sit in front of the TV” project.

The front post stitch creates a lovely ridged effect making this a wonderful textured blanket.

This would also be awesome as a play-mat for babies and depending on the yarn used, you could even make rugs. The possibilities are endless and makes this project so unique is its simplicity.
